Seal Stranding on Duxbury Beach :(

Young seal stranded on Duxbury Beach just over the boardwalk by the lifegaurd chair. Cones were set up around the animal to keep curious beach goers from adding to its stress. The Boston Aquarium was called in to rescue the animal, however it passed away before their arrival. Lobster Lovers!!
Last week the Big Fish, Little Fish ecology class kicked off with Love a Lobster. Students ages 3 to 6 went for a boat ride and pulled up DBMS’s lobster trap. All groups caught a lobster- though deciding upon a name was difficult. We had Lobby, Issabel, Crabby, Larry Jr. II, and Ivan. Check back soon for pictures of this lovable creature!
